How Vehicle Service Parts Planner works
Six steps from a new vehicle to the shopping list for its next service. Everything is typed in by you; nothing is looked up online.
Add a vehicle
Vehicles → Vehicle. Give it a name, optionally year, engine and registration, choose miles or kilometres and type in the current odometer reading.
Add its service intervals
Open the vehicle → Service intervals → Add. Start blank or from a template. Enter the distance, the months or both from the handbook, and when it was last done.
List the kit
Open the interval → Kit → Add. Pick the type, write the specification and the quantity for one service, and the price you expect per litre or piece.
Log what you buy
Purchases → Purchase. Choose the vehicle and the kit line it is meant for: it then counts as stock and comes off the shopping list.
Before the service
Open the interval → Shopping list. Share it as PDF or text, or save the PDF to a folder.
After the service
Tap Mark done, check date and mileage and tick the stock you used. The next due point is worked out from there.
Good to know
Why is an interval “Not tracked yet”?
It needs an interval (distance, months or both) and the last service (date for months, odometer for distance). Open it and tap the button on the status card.
Why does the forecast not appear?
The average mileage needs at least two odometer readings 14 days or more apart. Update the mileage from the vehicle screen now and then.
I typed a wrong odometer reading.
Open the vehicle → Update mileage and delete the wrong reading in the list. Undo is offered right away.
I marked a service done by mistake.
Use Undo in the message at the bottom, or open History and delete the entry: the interval goes back to the previous “last done” and the stock returns.
How do I move my data to a new phone?
More → Data and backup → Share backup file or Save backup to a folder. On the new phone: Import a backup, then Add new or Replace all.
How do I remove the example data?
More → Data and backup → Remove example data. Your own entries stay.
Your handbook comes first
The app has no manufacturer data. Intervals, oil grades, quantities and part specifications are the ones you enter from the owner’s handbook or service schedule of your vehicle. The app does not replace the service book.
